Heart of Hope Ministry was founded by Gay Wolf and reflects her passion and heart for the sexually and physically abused, male and female. Her passion comes from the fact that she personally suffered through chronic sexual abuse as a child. She understands first-hand the shame, guilt, sense of rejection, and “dirty” feeling that come with this abuse. She also understands that there is little effective support available to abused people; either it is ignored and hidden as a “dirty little secret” in the family or church and psychology place you under the bondage of a “victim” stereotype.

Gay also has a heart for healing as she is a three-time cancer survivor. In her thirty-five year struggle dealing with the effects of abuse and life-threatening disease, Gay learned of the Healing Love and Power of Jesus. Part of His saving work on the Cross was to see us saved, healed, delivered, and whole. She also learned a critical truth; that Jesus empowered us to heal and deliver ourselves and each other. She learned that we are not to go through life as victims; powerless, hopeless, and weak. We are to claim and take hold of His divine healing as our right as believers; becoming victors over the destructive powers of this fallen world.

Gay’s heart is to share the testimony of her personal journey from victim to victor. It is also to claim and invoke the healing and delivering power of Jesus for anyone who wants to be whole, healthy, and free in Spirit, Soul, and Body.
